Red Agave is located in the beautiful city of Boulder, Colorado at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 5,430 feet (1,655 m) above sea level. The city is 25 miles (40 km) northwest of Denver.
The Hacienda–
Tucked away in the corner of Villa Plaza on 2845 28th st., Red Agave awaits to be discovered and re-visited by locals and tourists. Customers are greeted by a beautiful hacienda setting, the traditional high wall arches, colors and tones of old Mexico.
The “Cocina” Kitchen–
Experience Mexico’s traditional culinary excellence, with a touch of modern, high energy, casual fine dinning. Red Agave prepares its dishes with the upmost care, to preserve the original and authentic taste from the Mexican region they originated from. All ingredients are hand selected by Red Agave’s chefs, and only the best and the most fresh make it to it’s scratch kitchen. All though the menu is ample and full of great dish selections, Red Agave’s chefs will cater to dish requests not on the menu. Servers perform table side food presentations, fresh tasty guacamole to awesome queso flameado (cheese flame). Most food creations are gluten free, chefs are always willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available through-out the menu.
Catering in house or on site is available for; corporations, businesses, organizations, reunions and parties.
The Tequila–
Red Agave is a “Tequileria”, featuring over 300 different bottles of tequila. Customers can enjoy great house margaritas and unique tequila cocktails, as well as the opportunity to taste the best premium tequilas in the world. Highly tequila knowledgeable staff are always happy to answer any questions regarding a particular tequila, mezcal or sotol. Tequila tasting events and workshops are offered through-out the year at Red Agave.
The Calaca Bar–
Inspired by the Mexican celebration of “Dia de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead), Calaca Bar features a colorful and festive ambience, decorated with skulls and “Calaca”art through out the bar and sitting area. Wi-fi enabled for students and young professionals who are working on the go. Customers can enjoy happy hour and great food specials every day. Calaca Bar features sporting events on its screens, as well as high energy environment and music. Late night performances, DJ appearances and diverse cultural events are held through-out the year. Famous for its Juarez style “Street Tacos”, “Tequila Drinks”, and “Great Corporate/Business Parties”. Located upstairs at Red Agave, just follow the calacas.
